Part of our outreach to courageous young women who have chosen life despite severe hardship is our annual Christmas Party program. Each year we serve over 400 needy client families (nearly 1,500 people) at two locations, just before Christmas. We collect presents at area churches, and solicit donations of food, camera film and other useful items. Volunteers serve a meal, make sure each family gets a visit with Santa Claus (including a Polaroid family picture,) and provide the family with a gift bag full of presents and other goodies. In most cases, this is the only Christmas cheer these families will receive. Many of the families have older children.
