Crisis intervention counseling by an extremely well trained and qualified staff, supplemented by various forms of ongoing counseling, makes up the core of our baby saving program. 
We "put our money where our mouth is" by giving away nearly a half million dollars in basic needs items to families in crisis -- and supplementing this with various additional assistance, provided by community referral agencies.
Ours is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against principalitites and powers. Eucharistic prayer and adoration in our St. Jude Chapel is essential to our mission.

The professional counseling staff includes individuals with backgrounds in various areas of social service: mental health counseling, pastoral counseling, nursing, teaching, and social work.
Our counseling services are available in English, Spanish and Polish. All services are free of charge and strictly confidential.
Crisis Intervention Counseling
A woman facing an unplanned pregnancy often experiences feelings of anxiety, helplessness, anger, and isolation. Without adequate information and support, she may choose what appears to be the quickest solution to her crisis--abortion. The trained counselors at each Women's Center location provide effective crisis counseling by connecting with the individual; allowing her to share her story and express her feelings; assessing the problems; reviewing ALL of her options and the consequences of each choice; identifying resources; offering support; and, helping her make a moral decision and develop a plan of action to carry that decision out.
Support Services
Staff and volunteers are available to help each client with emotional support as well as practical assistance. They provide information and referrals to community programs, advocacy in accessing the benefits of these programs, and material assistance through the Women's Centers if needs are indicated.
Individual and Family Counseling
An unplanned pregnancy does not occur in a vacuum; there are often issues related to family dynamics, self esteem, relationships, abuse, education, career, etc., which need to be addressed. Our professional counselors provide the opportunity to address these issues.
Grief Counseling
Any pregnancy loss leaves a woman with possible physical damage and certain emotional and psychological wounds. The Women's Center provides counseling for any woman who has experienced the pain of an abortion.
