The Family Room, located at our headquarters facility at 5116 North Cicero Avenue in Chicago, is a 4,500 square foot storage and display facility, geared to providing clients with a variety of materials needs. Used clothing, household items, cribs, strollers, high chairs, other baby items, and even some basic furniture make up the bulk of Family Room offerings. Added to these are a variety of basic hygiene, personal care and grooming, and other sundry items, as well as a modest emergency food pantry. With the exception of the new items acquired through a not-for-profit clearinghouse, the vast majority of items are used items in good condition that are available through the thoughtfulness of our donors. Each year nearly one half million dollars worth of in-kind assistance is dispensed to needy families through the auspices of the Family Room.

Cribs, playpens, high chairs, bassinets, baby carriers, car seats, strollers, single beds, dressers, small appliances, maternity clothes, baby and children's clothing, baby blankets, other clothing suitable for young women, toys, baby accessories (bottles, rattles, bibs, etc.)
